‪🎄Online entry for Brightlingsea Christmas Tree Festival is now open. Anyone can enter so join the individuals, families, groups, schools and businesses who are part of this year’s Festival. To enter, complete the form on our website by 6 December then bring your creation to the Church on the Thursday or Friday before the Festival so they are ready for display during the event. Full entry details are available on our website, link in bio.
Tickets for our popular evening festive entertainment events are now available to buy from Spirals in Victoria Place, Brightlingsea🎄🎶

Well done to everyone who entered the 2018 Brightlingsea Christmas Tree Festival! After careful checks we are delighted to announce that the winners are: CHILD INDIVIDUAL Florence Andrews 'The Hama-tree', CHILD GROUP Wong/Totenhofer family 'Chemis-tree', ADULT INDIVIDUAL Payne Gunfield 'A Spanner in the Works', ADULT GROUP Oaklands Care Home 'The NHS Angel' and in addition HIGHLY COMMENDED CHILD GROUP: 4th Brightlingsea Scouts 'Tree Prepared' ADULT GROUP French Marine 'Sleigh Drive' 🎄
That’s a wrap! Thank you to the many volunteers, entrants and visitors who made this year’s Brightlingsea Christmas Tree Festival a huge success. The results of the voting will be posted here once the count is complete but in the meantime please keep sending us your lovely photos of the weekend. Don’t forget, if you still need to collect your tree the church will be open today (Monday) from 9-11.30am. Trees not collected by midday will be donated to charity or disposed of.
This weekend’s Festival will conclude with a wonderful family carol singalong led by Chris Bloor. This well loved and widely anticipated event brings families and friends together to sing a delightful selection of festive music and close the Brightlingsea Christmas Tree Festival in true style. The carols start at 6pm. Tickets not required – open to all with general admission.
