The Brightlingsea Advent Windows Trail is quite wonderful. If you haven't already done so do take a walk/drive to view them all (final Windows will be lit on 24 Dec). Here are just a few examples to whet your appetite.
Its wonderful to see more Christmas Lights being put up around the town each day. This lovely photo by Stephen Johnson is of the Museum's window. If you're decorating your house/garden/windows for everyone to enjoy do add your address to our Christmas Tree Trail at https://brightlingsea.info/brightlingsea-christmas-lights-trail/
Local artist Olivia Goddard created a lovely colouring page featuring Bateman's Tower and the beach huts and boats for our Brightlingsea at Christmas magazine and we'd love to see your completed colourings. To get the ball rolling here are two lovely versions by 6 year old Robyn.
We already have some great entries for our Virtual Christmas Tree Festival so why not get involved too? Simply create a Tree (on your own, with friends or, through a group, club or school), take a selection of photos showing the tree up close and as a whole and enter online at www.brightlingsea.info by Thursday 10 December. The Festival and online judging will go live on 12 December.
Our first Brightlingsea Christmas Lights Trail entries are up and looking fab. Add your house to the trail at www.brightlingsea.info
Online entry for our Brightlingsea Christmas Lights trail is now open! Help us light up the town from All Saints' Church to the Hard by decorating your house this December and adding your address to our Lights Trail list. Entry closes 10 December. Trail goes live 12 December. Visit our website to find out more!
